The Hall has a main chamber and separate chambers for the protectors Palden Lhamo, Mahakala and Dzambhala. The walls are painted with colorful murals depicting lives of the great Indian and Tibetan masters and they are still in very good conditions. Natural emanated nectar has been flowing from the heart region of the 1000-armed Chenrezig mural in the main chamber of this hall. The Mahakala Chamber is considered the most sacred place in the monastery and houses a 10 feet 6-armed Mahakala statue, a 15 feet Yamantaka and many other wrathful protectors. |
